He chose a different path.
Coming out of high school, Chris Kraich planned to become a police officer. He began working long security shifts to prepare himself for that life, but those hours gave him time to confront an important truth: it was not the future he wanted. Instead of settling into a path that did not feel right, he decided to make a change.
As a teenager, Chris started cold calling local businesses from his bedroom, offering to build their websites and improve their online presence. There was no office or established team. Just a laptop, a phone, and the belief that he could create something of his own. One website became several clients, and CIKVI Creative was born. He was learning by doing before most people his age had decided what they wanted to pursue.
